The strut clamp holder is designed to be mounted directly onto the shock absorber body, allowing extended working travel when compressing suspension springs. When used together with a standard spring holder positioned at the upper end of the spring, the setup provides significantly greater compression range, making it easier to relieve tension from the shock absorber assembly.
Applications
This clamp holder is intended for use during MacPherson strut and suspension spring service operations where additional compression travel is required to safely dismantle the strut assembly.
