The tool enables precise fitting of the ABS ring onto the driveshaft outer joint without deforming or damaging the ring during installation.

Depending on the vehicle design, the ABS ring can either be pressed onto the driveshaft using the axle nut or carefully installed with a hammer while maintaining the ring's original shape and integrity.

Modern ABS sensor rings are often manufactured as coated metal rings. During installation with conventional tools, the protective coating can easily become damaged, potentially leading to ABS sensor malfunction or failure.
