Crankshaft Holding Tool for Vibration Damper – 2.4L / 2.5L VAG & Volvo (3248A, T10025, 9995645)

This heavy-duty crankshaft holding tool is specifically engineered for securely counter-holding the crankshaft during loosening and tightening of the central crankshaft bolt. It is essential when removing the vibration damper, especially during engine repair procedures such as timing belt replacement or crankshaft seal service.

Functionality

The tool prevents unwanted crankshaft rotation under high torque loads. Due to the extreme tightening and loosening torque values, a 3/4" drive system is required for safe and effective operation.

Use in combination with:

• 3/4" breaker bar
• 3/4" torque wrench (depending on torque specifications)
