This special transmission oil adapter is designed for filling 7- and 8-speed direct-shift gearboxes through the breather opening in the side cover.

Applications include VAG vehicles with 1.2, 1.4 and 1.8 TFSI, 1.5 MPI and 1.6 TDI engines. The adapter is also suitable for selected 8-speed ZF 8DT transmissions fitted to Porsche Cayenne, Panamera and other models.

Important Filling Information

The transmission oil level cannot be checked using this filling method. The exact oil quantity specified by the vehicle or transmission manufacturer must be observed.

Before filling, the existing transmission oil must be drained completely.

Reference filling quantity for an Audi A1 from 2022 with 0AM/0CW transmission: 1.7 l.

Always confirm the correct filling quantity using the appropriate repair documentation for the specific vehicle and transmission code.

Warning

Incorrect filling can cause transmission damage.

The filling process must be carried out slowly. Because the gearbox and mechatronic unit use a shared breather system, oil may enter the mechatronic unit if the transmission is filled too quickly or incorrectly.

Maintain strict cleanliness during filling and prevent the transmission fluid from being mixed with other oils.
