High-Pressure Fuel Pump Removal and Installation Tool Set for Ford 2.0L EcoBlue, as Ford 303-1635

This special tool set is designed for the professional removal and installation of the high-pressure injection pump on Ford 2.0L EcoBlue TDCi engines.

In addition to the timing belt used for the camshaft drive, this engine generation uses a gear drive for the high-pressure fuel pump. When removing, installing or replacing the pump, the drive gear must remain securely in position while the injection pump is pressed rearwards.

The tool set holds the fuel pump gear in its correct position and allows the pump to be pressed out and pulled back into place in a controlled manner. When replacing only the high-pressure fuel pump, no additional engine timing tools are required.

Important Note

The flywheel must be locked before loosening the central bolt of the injection pump.

For this procedure, we recommend flywheel locking tool item no. 118885, which is also included in the corresponding engine timing tool set.
