Special tool set for the correct and professional installation of the front crankshaft oil seal on selected 1.0L, 1.4L and 1.5L engines installed in MG and Opel vehicles.

The threaded spindle is fitted into the crankshaft and used to press the oil seal evenly to the specified installation depth. This controlled installation method helps prevent tilting and damage to the sealing lip.

Potentially Required Tightening Torque

Reference application: B14XFT engine, Opel Astra K 1.4T, model year 2017.

Crankshaft pulley: 100 Nm + 180°

Always verify the applicable tightening specifications in the vehicle manufacturer’s repair documentation.
