This special tool is designed to hold and lock the intake camshaft on selected Opel and GM 2.0 L timing-chain engines.

It allows the intake camshaft and its adjuster to be removed and subsequently reinstalled according to the appropriate repair instructions. This repair can be performed without removing the complete timing-chain drive.

The tool is also available together with the exhaust camshaft holding tool as a complete set under item no. 124742.

Important Compatibility Information

Suitable only for the following engine outputs:

  • 184 kW / 250 hp
  • 191 kW / 260 hp
  • 202 kW / 275 hp

For variants such as the 220 hp A20NHT engine, use tool set item no. 999070.

Always consult the appropriate manufacturer or workshop repair instructions before use.
