Camshaft Installation Tool for Mercedes-Benz M256 (Camtronic)

This specialized tool is required for the installation and removal of Camtronic camshafts in Mercedes-Benz M256 engines. It ensures correct positioning during assembly and disassembly procedures.

Functionality

The camshafts are mounted within a ladder frame structure. This tool acts as a spacer to maintain the correct installation position and ensures the Camtronic element is set to its base position.

The Camtronic elements are located on the intake camshaft and must be positioned against the mechanical stop before installation.
