Memory saver cable for maintaining power to the vehicle electrical system while the main battery is being replaced.
The cable connects the OBD2 diagnostic socket to an external 12 V battery. This preserves stored settings and electronic data during the battery change.
Instructions for Use
- Switch off all electrical consumers, including the lights and radio, and remove the ignition key.
- Connect the red crocodile clamp to the positive terminal and the black clamp to the negative terminal of an external 12 V battery.
- Connect the device to the vehicle’s OBD2 / EOBD socket.
- Confirm that the readiness LED is illuminated.
- Replace the vehicle battery.
- After completing the replacement, remove the crocodile clamps and disconnect the device from the OBD2 socket.
If the LED does not illuminate, disconnect the device and check the fuse. Replace it only with a fuse of the same type and rating.
The vehicle electrical system remains live during the battery replacement. Prevent disconnected battery cables from contacting the vehicle body or other conductive components.
