This special tool is designed to determine the correct crankshaft setting position on Opel, Chevrolet, Cadillac and GM 2.0L engines with engine codes F20SHL, F20SHT and LSY.
Setting Position
The correct crankshaft position for setting the engine timing is 52.4° after top dead centre of cylinder 1.
The tool features the following position markings:
- “Timing” for the required timing position
- TDC 1 & 4
- TDC 2 & 3
To set the engine timing, the reference line on the inner sleeve must be aligned with the “Timing” marking.
