The kit includes a 21 mm drill, a pull-in tool, two M20 x 1.5 thread taps, and five M18 x 1.5 repair inserts with internal threads. Using this kit, damaged threads can be cleaned, re-tapped, and repaired to original dimensions for safe and reliable sensor installation.

Usage Tips

• Apply grease to the M18 x 1.5 tap before cutting the damaged thread.

• If the thread cannot be repaired by cutting alone, use the reaming sleeve first to smooth the old thread. Apply light pressure and rotate clockwise.

• Grease the M20 x 1.5 tap and cut the new thread for the repair insert at a 90° angle. Turn 1/4 turn counterclockwise every second turn.

• Screw the repair insert onto the installation tool and insert into the newly cut thread to complete the repair.

• Use sufficient grease to reduce friction and ensure smooth results.
