Thread Chaser Insert M22x1.5 for NOx & Temperature Sensors

This M22x1.5 thread chaser insert is specifically designed for re-cutting and restoring damaged or contaminated threads before reinstalling NOx and temperature sensors.

In modern exhaust systems, sensor threads are often exposed to extreme heat, corrosion and carbon buildup. Damaged threads can lead to improper sealing or sensor misalignment. With this dedicated thread repair tool, threads can be cleaned and restored directly on the vehicle, avoiding unnecessary component replacement.

Due to restricted working space in exhaust systems, the tool features a 22 mm hex drive (6-point) for easy handling with standard tools. The stepped front end ensures straight and aligned positioning when starting the threading process, reducing the risk of cross-threading.

With an overall length of only 50 mm, the thread chaser is ideal for tight engine bay and underbody environments.
