This bench mounted rolling sheet metal shear is a lightweight yet highly efficient metal cutting tool designed for precision cutting of sheet metal up to 1.6 mm thickness. The tool enables both straight and curved cuts with excellent control and clean cutting results.

Its compact design requires minimal workspace, making it ideal for professional workshops, garages, metal fabrication environments, and serious DIY users. For enhanced stability and operational safety, the shear can easily be clamped into a bench vise, ensuring maximum control during operation.

The lever-driven cutting wheels provide smooth material feed with minimal physical effort, increasing efficiency and reducing operator fatigue.

Key Features:

  • Lightweight but powerful metal cutting tool

  • Suitable for straight and curved sheet metal cuts

  • Maximum cutting capacity: 1.6 mm

  • Compact, space-saving design

  • Bench vise mountable for increased stability and safety

  • Lever-operated rolling cutting wheels for controlled cutting

Application & Operating Instructions:

Before use, ensure the cutting unit is securely mounted in a bench vise. Verify that the ratchet latch is positioned forward from the lever before starting.

Feed the workpiece into the shear with the “good side” of the material positioned against the left side of the tool. During operation, scrap material should discharge on the right-hand side for optimal cutting results.

Support the sheet with your left hand and guide it carefully between the two cutting wheels for precise alignment. Operate the lever to drive the rolling cutting wheels, allowing the material to pass through smoothly with minimal effort.

Maintain slight downward pressure on the material to ensure a clean, even cut and prevent slippage. Curved cuts are possible; however, removing scrap material may require restarting the cut several times.

If cutting needs to be interrupted or direction changed, reverse the cutting action by rotating the ratchet latch and pulling the lever backward. This will retract the material and allow safe removal from the tool.
