This high-quality special tool is designed for the Ford 2.0 EcoBlue diesel engine family. It enables safe extraction of stuck injectors without dismantling or destroying them.

Mechanics can remove injectors manually using the included threaded spindle or with a hydraulic cylinder (not included). The specially adapted design compensates for slight angular misalignment and allows higher transferable pulling forces than a fixed standard extractor.

For defective injectors or when maximum load is reached, a more cost-effective alternative (Art.-Nr. 118722) can be used; however, in this case, the injector may be destroyed and cannot be reused.

Procedure:

  1. Warming the engine may help.

  2. Remove the middle screws from the valve cover of the respective injector (5 screws total).

  3. Insert the extractor supports into the mounting holes (not into the injector holding screws).

  4. Assemble the puller bell with the spindle and pull adapter around the injector (connector and fuel line in the designated cutout). Screw the spindle fully into the pull adapter. Tighten the side pressure screw to max 60 Nm.

  5. Place the pre-assembled bridge and pre-tension the bearing nut by hand.

  6. Ensure the construction is aligned parallel.

  7. Tighten the bearing nut with a wrench. Hold the spindle with a hex key.
    Caution:

  • If the injector cannot be removed with hand force, a torque wrench up to 250 Nm may be used.

  • Do not exceed 250 Nm; otherwise, abort extraction.

  • For torque wrench use, a socket or crowfoot SW27 (Art.-Nr. 100584) is required.

Note:
If 250 Nm torque is insufficient, use a hydraulic cylinder (e.g., Art.-Nr. 118860) or tool Art.-Nr. 118722. The injector may be overloaded or destroyed in this case.
