Usage Instructions

Removing Injector Seals

  1. Loosen the expansion cone on the seal puller by turning the knurled screw counterclockwise.

  2. Position the puller in the injector shaft and the expander in the seal bore.

  3. Tighten the expansion cone clockwise to fix the tool.

  4. Remove the seal by lifting the puller.

Cleaning Injector Seats

  1. Select the correct guide cone and attach to the cutter holder.

  2. Choose the cutter head matching the seal/injector and secure with the pin screw.

  3. Apply grease to the cutting edge.

  4. Adjust the height with the adjustment ring so the cutter rests on the sealing surface. Check centering carefully.

  5. Clean the sealing surface by turning the cutter holder by hand.

  6. Carefully remove the tool.

  7. Cover the combustion chamber hole with the included cap and press down with the cap rod.

  8. Remove dirt with compressed air (always wear safety glasses).

  9. Clean the injector shaft with the cleaning brush by hand or with a drill; use the brush holder extension if needed.

  10. Repeat compressed air blowing after brushing.

  11. Remove the cap and inspect seat and bore before installing new components.
