Diesel injector mounting holes and their screws are often exposed to moisture, dirt, and corrosion, making cleaning and thread repair necessary before reassembly. Standard taps lack the length and design to reach the blind holes used for injectors.

This specialized thread drill kit includes 100 mm long taps with integrated drill tips, allowing fast, safe, and effective cleaning and restoration of M6 and M7 threads.

The kit includes a unique tap holder, known from our glow plug tools, ensuring the tap is secure without play and can be operated using a T-handle, 1/4" ratchet, or 13 mm socket.
