High Pressure Pump Tool Set for Nissan Diesel (YD22 / YD25)

This professional tool set is designed to hold the high-pressure pump sprocket and lock the pump position during removal and reinstallation on Nissan diesel engines. It allows replacement of the high-pressure pump without dismantling the front of the engine, saving time and ensuring correct engine timing.

Using the sprocket holding tool equivalent to Nissan KV11106060 ensures the crankshaft position remains unchanged during service.

Working Method

• Use a T70 socket to rotate the shaft until the locking pin aligns and locks the holes.

• The 6 mm hex screws can now be loosened.

• Use the sprocket holding tool to hold the fuel pump sprocket and prevent it from falling.

• The tool must remain installed until the pump is reinstalled.

• Remove the E10-profile mounting bolts and remove the injection pump backwards.

• Ensure the sealing washer is not dropped into the engine during removal.

Important Notes

• Do not loosen the central mounting nut of the high-pressure pump if the pump will be reused, otherwise it must be replaced.

• When replacing the pump, the front drive gear must be rebuilt and the correct spacing set using adjustment shims.

• A low-profile T70 socket is required; if necessary use Art. No. 5103-TB70 and shorten it to approximately 25 mm.
