Timing Chain Adjustment Tool Set for Fiat & Jeep 1.0 / 1.3 T-GDi Engines

This professional tool set is designed for 1.0 and 1.3 T-GDi engines from 2018 installed in Fiat and Jeep vehicles. Required for engine repair and precise timing chain adjustment. The camshaft is locked via the vacuum pump, and the crankshaft is adjusted using a flywheel locking pin. The coolant pump is driven by a chain gear.

Work Method

• Timing is set at TDC for cylinder 1.

• The vacuum pump and vibration damper with belt drive must be removed.

• The central camshaft adjustment bolt does not need to be removed to replace the timing chain.

Notes:

• The crankshaft central bolt is left-handed.

• The central bolt is loosened using the flywheel lock and vibration damper holder.

• Manufacturer requires the right upper engine mount bolt to be replaced.
