This crankshaft turning tool adapter is a precision-engineered special tool designed for rotating the crankshaft during engine timing and repair procedures.
It allows controlled rotation of the crankshaft and provides secure counter-holding when loosening or tightening gear mounting bolts and nuts, ensuring safe and efficient service operations.
Design and Operation
The adapter is designed to fit in only one position on the crankshaft flange, ensuring correct alignment and secure mounting.
It is attached using the included fixing bolt and tightened to 20 Nm, providing stable engagement during operation.

Usage
- Secure the special adapter to the crankshaft using the fixing bolt (tightening torque: 20 Nm).
Note: The adapter can only be mounted in one specific position on the crankshaft. - Rotate the crankshaft in the engine’s normal direction of rotation until the marking on the adapter aligns with the marking on the sealing flange.
- The engine is now set to Top Dead Center (TDC) for cylinder 1.
