Pneumatic Impact Wrench for Glow Plugs, 1/4", 20-50 Nm

This pneumatic impact wrench uses a gentle impact and rotary action to help loosen seized glow plugs.

Four adjustable torque levels of approximately 20, 30, 40 and 50 Nm help reduce the risk of breaking the glow plug during removal. The torque can be adjusted for both clockwise and counterclockwise rotation.

The tool can also be used on other sensitive threaded connections where a low and controlled loosening torque is required.

Its low weight and compact dimensions make it easy to handle, including in confined working areas.

Torque Settings

The impact wrench offers four torque levels for clockwise and counterclockwise rotation:

• Level 1: approximately 20 Nm
• Level 2: approximately 30 Nm
• Level 3: approximately 40 Nm
• Level 4: approximately 50 Nm

Instructions for Use

1. When loosening glow plugs or other sensitive threaded connections, always begin with the lowest torque setting. Select level 1, corresponding to approximately 20 Nm.
2. Set the air regulator to the lowest position and increase the power gradually until the glow plug, nut or bolt begins to move.
3. When installing a nut or bolt, first engage the thread and turn the fastener several rotations by hand. Use the impact wrench only until the fastener sits flush against the contact surface.
4. After installation, always use a torque wrench to tighten or verify the fastener according to the specified torque value.

Important Warning

Prolonged operation or use of the highest torque level can cause a glow plug to break during removal.

Never apply a higher tightening torque than specified for the respective fastener. Always begin with the lowest setting and increase the torque gradually only when necessary.
