Special removal lever for controlled release and removal of clipped-in rear seat benches on selected VAG Group vehicles.
The fork-shaped tool end is guided underneath the seat cushion and positioned on both sides of the retaining hook. Applying an even levering movement releases the seat bench from its locking points without having to pull the cushion upward with excessive force by hand.
Protected and Controlled Removal
The plastic-coated lever helps reduce the risk of damage to the seat upholstery, seat frame and painted body surfaces during removal.
Removing the rear seat bench provides access to components located underneath it, including:
- High-voltage battery covers
- Electrical wiring
- Seat belt anchorages
- Fuel level senders
