This specialist tool set is designed to repair damaged, worn or stripped M14 × 1.25 spark plug threads.
The damaged thread is enlarged and recut using the supplied M16 × 1.25 thread tap. A suitable M14 × 1.25 repair insert can then be installed to restore the spark plug mounting thread.
The set contains 15 inserts in lengths of 11.3 and 17.5 mm, including black and coated versions. It is suitable for repairs on cast-iron and aluminium engine components.
