Operating Instructions

Remove the nut from the tie rod end and separate the tie rod end from the steering knuckle.
Secure the holding fixture to the axial tie rod using the fixing clamps.
Insert the appropriate measuring probe into the clamping tube and position the tie rod end ball stud into the gauge bore.
Adjust the required distance using the sliding mechanism and lock the position with the wing screw on the clamping tube.
Move the gauge upward using the sliding pin until the ball stud is free and the tie rod end can be removed.
Install the new tie rod end and adjust it on the axial tie rod until the ball stud fits precisely into the gauge bore.
