This specialized tool set is designed for safe removal and precise alignment of the timing chain front cover on Subaru and Toyota boxer engines of the FA and FB series.
It ensures professional service procedures without damaging sealing surfaces or engine components.
Disassembly Process
✔ Both removal bridges are mounted on the timing chain front cover
✔ The cover is separated using pressing screws
✔ Two screws are applied on bank 1 and one on bank 2
✔ The bridges are positioned from the rear and apply controlled pressure
Installation & Alignment
✔ Precise alignment is mandatory during reinstallation
✔ Guide pins are inserted through the cover into threaded holes in the cylinder head
✔ Ensures correct positioning and sealing of the front cover
Important Note
✔ No additional special tools are required for timing adjustment
