Application

This tool is designed for installing the illustrated bushing in the trailing arm.

Tool Assembly

• Slide the press sleeve (1) over the O-ring onto the pressure plate (2).
• Once installed, the press sleeve (1) is held in position by the O-ring on the pressure plate (2).

Tool Positioning

• When aligning the holding claws (4), ensure that both claw arms are positioned at an equal distance from the center of the bridge (5).
• Use the scale markings on the bridge as a reference for correct alignment.
• Position the trailing arm bushing (B) inside the press sleeve.
• Place the holding claws (4) behind the trailing arm (A).

Bushing Installation

• Pre-load the tool as shown in the illustration.
• Verify that all tool components are correctly seated and securely positioned.
• Press the bushing into the trailing arm (A) by turning the spindle (3) clockwise until the installation is complete.
