Mechanical Torque Multiplier – 3200 Nm

The mechanical torque multiplier is designed for loosening and tightening bolted connections that require high torque.

It is particularly suitable for loosening seized wheel nuts on trucks and vans. The planetary gearing inside the gearbox multiplies the applied input torque, allowing high output torque to be achieved with reduced physical effort.

Planetary Gear Mechanism

The mechanical advantage of the torque multiplier is generated by the planetary gearing inside its gearbox.

With a gear ratio of 1:56, the tool can generate a maximum output torque of 3200 Nm.

Torque Loss

Friction within the gear mechanism results in a torque loss of approximately 10–20%.

This loss must be considered when determining the required input torque and the resulting output torque.
