Front Camshaft Oil Seal Installation Tool for Volvo 2.0L D420T2 and D420T8, as 9997766

Special two-piece tool set for the correct and damage-free installation of the front camshaft oil seal on Volvo 2.0L D420T2 and D420T8 engines.

The set consists of a tapered guide sleeve and a press sleeve. Together, they protect the sealing lip and ensure that the oil seal is guided onto the camshaft and pressed evenly into its correct installation position.

Reference Tightening Torques

Reference application: Volvo V90 II with D420T8 engine

• Crankshaft central bolt: 90 Nm + 110°
• Camshaft central bolt: 50 Nm + 60°
• Small idler pulley: 17 Nm
• Large idler pulley: 24 Nm
• Timing-belt tensioner pulley: 30 Nm
