Special pliers for the easy removal and installation of protective plastic caps fitted to wheel bolts and wheel nuts.
The specially shaped jaws provide secure access to caps located in confined wheel recesses.
Application
Many vehicle manufacturers, particularly VW, Audi, SEAT, Škoda and Cupra, use plastic caps to protect wheel bolts and improve the appearance of the wheel.
These caps must be removed before removing the wheel. Dirt, corrosion and restricted access around the caps can make removal difficult and may result in scratched wheel bolts or damage to the recessed areas of aluminium wheels.
The pliers make the caps easier to grip and remove in a controlled manner.
Glow Plug Connectors
The special design is also used by VAG for removing glow plug connectors. This application can also be transferred universally to vehicles from other manufacturers.
