Cooling System Flush & Cleaning Kit, 12 pcs

This professional cooling system flush kit is designed for cleaning radiators, engine cooling passages and heater cores. The system removes deposits and contaminants from inside the cooling circuit, helping to restore coolant flow and improve cooling system performance.

The cleaning tool features two flushing modes: pulsing and continuous water flow. The pulsing mode helps loosen stubborn deposits, while the continuous flow mode is ideal for rinsing the system after cleaning. The discharged water can be visually inspected to monitor contamination during the flushing process.

Scope of Delivery

• 1 × Flushing tool
• 1 × Flushing hose, 850 mm
• 1 × 90° compressed air adapter
• 1 × Radiator / radiator hose adapter, tapered Ø18–45 mm
• 1 × Heater hose adapter, tapered Ø9.7–25.7 mm
• 1 × Heater hose adapter, 5/8"
• 1 × Heater hose adapter, 1/2"
• 2 × Hose clamps, 16–27 mm
• 2 × Hose clamps, 20–32 mm
• 1 × Quick connector for 1/2" water hoses

Setup

1. Connect a standard garden hose (not included) to the water hose coupling.
2. Connect the compressed air hose to the air coupling.
3. Turn on the water supply and open the water control valve.
4. Pull the trigger to test the water flow and adjust the pressure regulator to the desired pressure.
5. Depending on the component being cleaned, it may be necessary to secure certain vehicle hoses with hose clamps.

Radiator Cleaning

1. Remove the upper and lower radiator hoses.
2. Connect the flushing tool to the flushing hose.
3. Attach the large tapered adapter to the flushing hose.
4. Connect the tapered adapter to the radiator filler neck.
5. Flush the radiator until the discharged water runs clean.

Engine Block Cleaning

1. Remove the upper and lower radiator hoses.
2. Connect the flushing tool directly to the large tapered adapter.
3. Attach the adapter to either the upper or lower coolant hose on the engine block.
4. Flush the engine block thoroughly.

Note: Removal of the thermostat may be required to achieve proper coolant flow during flushing.

Heater Core Cleaning

1. Select the appropriate adapter for the heater core.
2. Connect the adapter to the flushing tool.
3. Attach the flushing tool to the heater core.
4. If the heater core inlet is difficult to access, use the flushing hose between the tool and the adapter.

Flushing Procedure

The flushing tool offers two operating modes:

• Stage 1 – Pulsating Flow: Pull the trigger to the first position to create a pulsating water flow for improved removal of deposits and contaminants.
• Stage 2 – Continuous Flow: Pull the trigger fully to generate a steady, non-pulsating water flow.

Collect the discharged coolant and flushing water in a suitable container. Inspect the liquid for contamination, rust, scale, and debris. If excessive contamination is present, further maintenance may be required, such as replacing the water pump or other cooling system components.

Disconnecting the Tool

1. Turn the pressure regulator counterclockwise to reduce the air pressure.
2. Disconnect the compressed air hose from the flushing tool.
3. Turn off the water supply.
4. Disconnect the garden hose from the flushing tool.
5. Close the water control valve before storing the tool.
