This electronic brake fluid tester is designed for quick and simple determination of moisture content within brake fluid and for evaluating overall brake fluid condition.
Brake fluid is hygroscopic, meaning it gradually absorbs moisture over time. As the water content increases, the boiling point decreases. If the boiling point drops excessively, the brake fluid may begin to boil under high operating temperatures, creating air bubbles that can reduce braking performance and potentially lead to brake system failure.
Regular testing of brake fluid is important for maintaining braking efficiency and determining the correct replacement interval.
The tester provides immediate result indication through color-coded LED indicators, allowing technicians to assess brake fluid condition quickly and accurately.

Instructions
Before use, insert the battery by pulling out the end cap. Remove the measuring electronics and insert the battery into the holder located on the circuit board. Ensure the negative battery terminal (-) is in contact with the spring inside the holder.
Slide the measuring electronics back into the housing, making sure the circuit board is correctly positioned in the guide rails. Reinstall the end cap to close the housing.
Instructions for Use
- Switch on the tester by pressing the Power button. The device is ready for operation when the green LED illuminates.
- Immerse the measuring sensors approximately 1 cm into the brake fluid.
- The brake fluid condition is displayed immediately and should be evaluated as follows:
LED Status Interpretation
| LED Indicator | Status | Brake Fluid Condition |

| 🟢 Green LED illuminated | Very low water content | Water content in the brake fluid is very low (<1.5%). Brake fluid can remain in the vehicle. |
| 🟡 Yellow LED illuminated | Critical condition | Water content in the brake fluid is critical (1.5–3%). Brake fluid should be replaced in the near future. |
| 🔴 Red LED illuminated | Replace immediately | Water content in the brake fluid is very high (>3%). Brake fluid must be replaced immediately. |
Note
After the measurement has been completed, the brake fluid tester automatically switches off after approximately 10 seconds.
A new measurement can only be performed after the device has switched off automatically and has been switched on again.
