This engine support bridge is designed to support engines and gearboxes safely during installation, removal and repair work.
It is particularly suitable for gearbox repairs and clutch replacement on front-wheel-drive vehicles, as well as other procedures that require the engine or gearbox to remain securely supported.
Adjustable Construction
The sliding supports and slotted adjustment holes allow the bridge to be adapted to different vehicle widths and engine-compartment configurations.
The working width can be adjusted from 1,120 to 1,450 mm. Its stable square steel-tube construction supports loads of up to 300 kg when correctly positioned and used within its rated capacity.
Threaded Hook and Support Chain
The support hook is equipped with an M24 × 3.0 threaded rod for adjusting the supporting position of the engine or gearbox.
A 900 mm support chain provides flexible attachment to a suitable lifting point.
Protection of Vehicle Surfaces
Rubber protectors on the supports help prevent scratches and other damage to the vehicle’s wing edges during positioning and use.
