Chain Tensioner Lever

The chain tensioner lever is used to lock the timing chain when replacing the gasket.

Usage:

• Mount the tool so it aligns with the service opening in the engine cover.

• The pin engages the ribs of the chain guide.

• Pull the tensioner piston back using the lever until it locks in position.

• Ensure the tensioner is fully extended before releasing the lever.

Camshaft Alignment Tools (2 pcs)

The camshaft alignment tools are used for precise camshaft positioning.

Usage:

• Camshafts remain locked after insertion into the alignment position.

• Remove the sealing plugs before mounting the tools (front and rear plugs on the valve cover).

• Lift the fuel line and wiring harness to access the plugs.

• Mount the tools so the internal key surfaces are horizontal.

• Tools are correctly installed if they can be gently pressed inward.

Note:
These tools are for aligning camshafts only, not for locking camshafts when loosening camshaft gears.

Crankshaft Alignment Tools (Fiat / Opel / Suzuki)

• Hold the crankshaft in the alignment position after installation.

• Ensure correct positioning when installing the timing chain.

Warning:

• These tools are only for crankshaft alignment.

• Never use when loosening or tightening bolts.

Crankshaft Locking Tool

Usage:

• Locks the crankshaft (flywheel side) in the alignment position.

• Used during complete engine overhauls or with the engine removed.

• Mounted on the flywheel mounting bolts (flywheel must be removed).
