Specialized puller tool designed for removing and reinstalling transmission housings on longitudinally mounted 7-speed DSG and S-Tronic gearboxes used in various VAG (Audi) and Porsche models.
During transmission repair and overhaul procedures, the gearbox housing half must be pressed off the transmission shaft using this special tool. After repair work is completed, the end cover is pressed back into position and kept under tension for approximately 10 minutes.
Suitable for professional workshop servicing and transmission rebuilding operations.
Important Information
Ensure that the retaining ring and all mounting bolts are completely removed before beginning disassembly.
This includes:
- 6 cross-installed bolts including their 5 centering bushings
- 22 gearbox housing bolts
Recommended Tightening Torques
Transmission Housing Bolts
22 bolts must be tightened evenly in opposite sequence according to the repair manual:
- Hand-tight
- 10 Nm + 90°
Cross-Installed Bolts
- Hand-tight
- 15 Nm + 90°
