The VAG Pump Injector Adjustment Gauge is a professional special tool designed for exact adjustment and proper installation of unit injectors in 3- and 4-cylinder VAG diesel engines. It ensures that the injector is mounted in the correct position relative to the camshaft and bearing block, which is critical for engine performance and durability.

The gauge is compatible with both older and newer solenoid adjustment nuts and can be easily adapted thanks to the adjustable measuring unit. Adjustment is performed using a 0.8 mm feeler gauge, providing accurate and repeatable alignment between the injector and the gauge’s adjustment finger.

The gauge is firmly secured to the cylinder head via the valve cover screws, allowing high precision and safe handling even in professional workshop settings. A supplied measurement table enables correct adjustment even when installing mixed types of adjustment nuts.

Instructions (Overview)

Prepare the engine according to manufacturer instructions.
Install or replace the unit injector if necessary.
Place the mounting screws on the clamping block so the injector can rotate.
Align the injector at a 90° angle to the camshaft bearing block.
Set the adjustment gauge according to the nut type.
Secure the gauge to the cylinder head with valve cover screws.
Adjust with a 0.8 mm feeler gauge between injector and adjustment finger.
Tighten injector mounting screws according to specifications.

Note: For mixed installation (old and new solenoid nuts), use the setting for the new nut and fine-tune with the feeler gauge according to the supplied table.
