Diesel Injector Tester 0–400 Bar

This diesel injector tester is designed for accurate inspection and diagnosis of diesel injector nozzles. It allows mechanics and workshops to evaluate injector performance by measuring critical parameters such as opening pressure, spray pattern and sealing quality.

The tester provides controlled manual pressure generation using a hand pump, allowing precise observation of injector behavior during operation.

How to Use

1. Install the injector nozzle onto the tester using the correct adapter.

2. Fill the fuel reservoir with clean diesel fuel.

3. Operate the hand lever to pump fuel through the injector.

If pressure does not build up, the system must be bled:

• Carefully loosen the line screw.

• Pump the handle until diesel begins to flow from the screw.

• Tighten the screw once the air has been removed.

When the fuel pressure exceeds the injector spring force, the injector will open and spray diesel fuel.

To check leak tightness, pump the handle until the pressure reaches approximately 20 bar at the injector.

• If the injector valve is tight, no fuel should leak within 10 seconds.

Pump the handle slowly to open the injector valve and observe the spray pattern. Depending on the injector type, a distinct audible chatter may be heard.

The opening pressure can be read directly from the pressure gauge.

If the opening pressure or fuel delivery does not match manufacturer specifications, the injector must be adjusted or serviced.
