This high-quality torque multiplier is essential for achieving the required final tightening torque on crankshaft central bolts and cylinder head bolts. It multiplies the applied torque by a ratio of 5:1, ensuring precise and controlled tightening according to manufacturer specifications.

Technical Specifications

  • Gear ratio: 5:1 (input torque ×5)
  • Drive: 1/2" square
  • Output: 3/4" square
  • Designed to match OEM tool specifications

Application

Ford EcoBoost 1.0L / 1.1L – Crankshaft Bolt

The holding plate is mounted at the rear of the engine in combination with the adjustable support. The multiplier is then positioned on the crankshaft.

Tightening torque:

  • 60 Nm + 5 × 90°

Opel Engines (LSQ, LXD, L3T)

The multiplier is mounted onto the crankshaft holder and stabilized via the 3/4" square drive.

Tightening torque:

  • 180 Nm + 90°

Ford 2.0 EcoBlue – Cylinder Head Bolts (Accessory Required)

Using a special adapter (item.no. 124771), inserted into the injector bores, cylinder head bolts can be tightened according to manufacturer specifications.

Without a multiplier, achieving required torque values is difficult and may damage tools or components.

Tightening sequence:

  • Stage 1–3: 15 Nm, 25 Nm, 40 Nm
  • Stage 4–5: 90°
  • Stage 6: 90° (with multiplier)
