Mobile Geared Engine Stand, 500 kg, with Transmission Adapter and Drain Tray

This heavy-duty Stahlmaxx engine stand supports engine blocks weighing up to 500 kg. Its adjustable mounting arms accommodate different engine configurations, while the handwheel-operated reduction gearing allows controlled rotation into the required working position.

The mounting head rotates through 360° and can be locked in any position for dismantling, cleaning, resealing and assembly work.

Transmission mounting adapter

The included adapter provides additional mounting options for manual and automatic transmission housings. It allows transmissions to be secured to the stand for dismantling, torque converter removal and installation, or clutch pack replacement.

Mobile frame and collection tray

The rectangular steel base is fitted with four swivel castors for manoeuvring around the workshop. The large tray beneath the assembly collects oil, coolant and cleaning fluids during engine and transmission work.

The steel construction has a powder-coated finish.

Optional adapter for VAG EA837 3.0 TFSI V6 engines

A separate adapter is available for VAG EA837 3.0 TFSI V6 engines, which have the timing chain at the rear of the engine.

Timing chain replacement requires removal of the transmission-side timing cover, preventing the use of the standard mounting arrangement for this operation. The dedicated adapter provides an alternative mounting solution and is available separately.
