This vibration damper holding tool is designed for securing the crankshaft pulley during removal and installation of the central bolt on Audi V8 engines. It allows safe handling of high torque applications without damaging engine components.
Function
The tool counter-holds the vibration damper, enabling the application of the required torque (typically up to 450 Nm) when loosening or tightening the central bolt.
Important Note
It is recommended to use extension tool Art. No. 115751, as 2079.
With this extension, the required torque can be reduced to approximately 350 Nm.
