This 4-piece wheel hub grinder set is designed for fast and highly efficient cleaning of contact surfaces on wheel hubs with wheel studs or wheel nut mounting systems. It effectively removes corrosion, rust and deposits from the contact areas between the wheel hub and brake disc, as well as between the brake disc and wheel.

The tool is specifically designed for applications where conventional cup-style wheel hub grinders cannot be used due to wheel stud configurations. Clean contact surfaces help ensure proper heat transfer, accurate wheel torque values and easier removal of wheels and brake discs during maintenance.

In addition to wheel hub servicing, the tool is also suitable for cleaning sealing surfaces on timing covers, oil pans, valve covers and similar components.

Applications

Suitable for cleaning wheel hub and brake disc contact surfaces on passenger vehicles, SUVs, vans and commercial vehicles equipped with wheel studs. The deeply machined housing design provides an effective working depth exceeding 90 mm, making the tool suitable for many commercial vehicle applications, including twin-wheel assemblies. After a short break-in period, it can also be used on wheel studs up to 16 mm and in some cases up to 18 mm in diameter.
