The XL engine support bridge allows the front axle to be removed from front- and rear-wheel-drive vehicles without first removing the engine and drivetrain assembly.
It can also support the engine during gearbox repairs, gearbox removal and clutch replacement, particularly on front-wheel-drive vehicles.
Adjustable XL Construction
Movable supports and slotted adjustment holes allow the bridge to be adapted to different vehicle widths and engine-compartment configurations.
The working width can be adjusted from 750 to 1,450 mm. The stable square steel-tube construction supports loads of up to 500 kg when correctly positioned and used within its rated capacity.
Threaded Hooks and Support Chains
The support hooks are equipped with M20 × 2.5 threaded rods for adjusting the engine or gearbox support position.
Two support chains, each 900 mm long, provide flexible attachment to suitable lifting points on the engine or gearbox.
Protection of Vehicle Surfaces
Rubber protectors on the supports help prevent scratches and other damage to the vehicle’s wing edges during positioning and use.
