Brake Caliper Carrier Guide Pin Thread Repair Kit 12 pcs M9x1.25 to M10x1.25

This 12-piece repair kit is designed for repairing damaged or stripped brake caliper guide pin threads in the wheel carrier, wheel bearing housing or brake caliper carrier. It is intended for cases where the original M9x1.25 mounting thread has been damaged and needs to be restored by enlarging it to M10x1.25.

Damage to the original guide pin thread is commonly caused by corrosion, excessive tightening torque or improper handling during brake caliper installation. Using this kit, a new M10x1.25 thread can be cut and fitted with the supplied repair guide pin.

The repaired M10x1.25 thread provides the required strength for continued use in the brake caliper mounting point.

Application

1. Drill the core hole using the included spiral drill bit.
2. Cut a new M10x1.25 thread using the included tap.
3. Install the M10x1.25 repair guide pin.
