Subframe Centering Tool Set M12 for VW, Audi and Seat

Function

The alignment bolts temporarily replace the original mounting bolts, allowing the subframe and suspension assembly to be accurately centered before final assembly.

This helps:

• Maintain correct suspension geometry
• Ensure precise subframe positioning
• Reduce installation errors
• Simplify reassembly after repairs

Subframe Alignment Procedure

To align the subframe, the alignment bolts must be installed sequentially in the specified mounting locations.

Important instructions:

• Tighten the alignment bolts to a maximum of 20 Nm
• Exceeding 20 Nm may damage the alignment bolt threads
• Replace the front subframe bolts one at a time with the alignment bolts
• Tighten each alignment bolt to a maximum of 20 Nm
• Once completed, the front axle assembly is correctly aligned
• Replace the mounting bracket bolts on both sides one at a time with the alignment bolts
• Tighten all alignment bolts to a maximum of 20 Nm
