This professional valve spring compressor is designed for replacing valve stem seals, valve springs, spring retainers and valve keepers on installed or removed cylinder heads.
When working with the cylinder head installed, compressed air is supplied to the cylinder through the spark-plug or glow-plug opening. The air pressure holds the valve securely against its seat while the spring is compressed.
Threaded-Spindle Operation
Unlike conventional lever-operated compressors, the valve spring is compressed precisely using a 12.7 mm threaded spindle. This provides controlled movement and keeps both hands free during the removal or installation of the valve keepers.

Adapter Connections
