The Injector & Rail Sealing Kit M12x1.5 is designed for sealing high-pressure line connections directly on injectors or the fuel rail during common rail system diagnostics. By isolating each injector, mechanics can identify leaking units without disassembling the entire system.
How It Works
During pressure testing of a common rail system, a leaking injector can be detected by disconnecting it from the fuel rail and sealing the open connection with a locking screw.
If the system maintains or reaches the desired fuel pressure afterward, the injector is defective and requires repair or replacement. This method ensures 100% reliable identification of dripping injectors.
Protects Against Contamination and Corrosion
Besides its diagnostic function, the sealing plugs prevent dirt and corrosion when fuel lines are disconnected, safeguarding system components during testing.
