The Injector & Rail Sealing Kit M14x1.5 is designed to seal high-pressure line connections directly on injectors or the fuel rail during common rail system diagnostics. By isolating each injector, mechanics can quickly identify leaks without disassembling the system.
How It Works
During pressure testing of a common rail system, a leaking injector can be identified by disconnecting it from the fuel rail and sealing the open connection with a locking screw.
If the system maintains or reaches the desired fuel pressure, the injector is defective and requires repair or replacement. This method provides 100% reliable detection of dripping injectors.
Protects Against Contamination and Corrosion
In addition to its diagnostic function, the sealing plugs prevent dirt and corrosion when fuel lines are disconnected, protecting system components during testing.
