Front Crankshaft Oil Seal Installation Tool for VAG 1.8L and 2.0L TSI/TFSI EA888, as T10354

Special tool for installing the front crankshaft oil seal on VAG 1.8L and 2.0L TSI and TFSI engines with timing-chain drive.

Suitable for selected VW, Audi, SEAT, Škoda, CUPRA and Porsche vehicles with EA888 engines.

The tool is required when replacing the crankshaft oil seal during engine repairs, timing-chain replacement or repairs caused by oil leakage.

After installing the front timing cover, the old oil seal is carefully levered out. The new crankshaft oil seal is then pressed into position using the spindle-driven installation tool.

Timing-Drive Warning

After the vibration damper has been loosened, the crankshaft timing-chain sprocket no longer has a friction-locked connection to the crankshaft.

If the sprocket rotates relative to the crankshaft, the timing can shift unnoticed and cause severe engine damage.

We recommend performing this work with item no. 115146, as T10531, and item no. 123206, as T10531/5 and T10531/6.

Also use the correct engine-specific crankshaft holding tool for the relevant engine variant.
